Books

For more information on mounting and identifying insects you can find many great books at your library or local bookstore. Recommended is the Peterson's Field Guide to Insects by Borror and White. This book is a small paperback, yet contains well organized information on pinning and identifying insects. It is available for $15 to $20. Also the Golden Guide to Insects by Cottam and Zim is great for first time bugcatchers. This book is simplified for younger readers and sells for about only $5. For Cornell Drawers, insect pins, or anything else you may need contact one of the companies below. If you have any problems or questions locating information or supplies, please e-mail us at 4hbugclub@ifas.ufl.edu
