I am a boy, 7years old. I like to ride horses. My horse's name is Custer. I like to draw horses and bugs. I homeschool. I am Miss Swallowtail and Bugger's brother. I live on a ranch and we have sheep, horses, cows, chickens. I like to help my mom garden. We found a humungous caterpillar that stung--we think it was a Swallowtail. I like bugs because they can change into new bugs with wings and it's called metamorphosis.

I have loved bugs all of my life. I also love trains and have a huge collection of all sorts of trains and books about trains. I have almost as many books about insects as I have about trains. I used to live in California but now I live in the Midwest on a little farm and I love it.

I am 12 years old and I live in the country. I have easy access to hundreds of insects in my yard, hence my large insect collection. I started collecting insects when I was about 6 years old, and the first specimen in my collection was a ladybird beetle. Now in my collection I have many species of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Odonata, Orthoptera, and Hymenoptera, plus an assortment of other small orders. Besides entomology, I also enjoy designing vehicles like planes and space ships.

Hi I am 7 years old. I live in the country on a dairy farm. My favorite bugs is a caterpillar because it is cool how the caterpillar changes into a butterfly. Every morning I go outside and I catch caterpillars.

I live in a very small town. A few years ago, I did an entomology project. I am interested in bugs because I find them very unique. They are very different from other animals. I have been in 4-H for five years. 4-H is a lot of fun and provides many opportunties like this. My mom has a lot of meal worms at her school. I like to play with them!

I always thought bugs were okay, except for some, but now that I read The Bug Club Book by Gladys Conklin I like every bug, but I do not harm them. I want to raise them and breed them. I am 39, I am a single mom and have 4 children. My youngest son Dillon will probably want to join the club once he finds out that there is one. I live in a small but growing town in Florida. I work for the Parks Dept. and have always loved bugs and reptiles. I am hoping by joining this club I will learn things that I can use to teach the kids that come visit me here at the park.

I like to do most sports such as gymnastics,hockey,basketball,soccer,softball,volleyball,football,swimming, etc. I also like to investigate the outerdoors(bugs), write,read,act,sing,do OM(odessey of the mind), sew(crochet,etc.), and MANY MORE! I'm a busy girl, but like to get on the computer/internet in my spare time. I live in a peaceful city, small, but cool.
