I'm ten years old, and have been in 4-H entomology for two years. I'm in the 4-H Rock Cafe club. I like bugs because they are interesting creatures.

I chose the nickname Pillsect because I like pill bugs and they are sort of like insects. So I put "pill bug" and "insect" together. I am 7 years old. I like bugs because they are interesting to watch and I like nature. I am doing research on ground bugs for a type 3 (gifted and talented) project at Jeffers Hill Elementary School.

I am 6 years old. I have loved bugs since i was 2 years old. I am going into first grade. I am going into my second year of 4-H. Every other tuesday i take a bug class at the agricultural center and i love it. We went to the University of Florida in July to see the entomology center there, it was great. My favorite 3 bugs are, ladybugs, butterflies, and grasshoppers. I love bugs because they are fun to watch and there are so many different kinds.

I'm almost 9 and I have a snake, a dog, two gerbils, (I used to have a small lobster) and lots of toys! I once caught a praying mantis in my back yard. I find lots of beetles and other bugs in my backyard.

I think insects are so interesting because there are so many different types and some of them are cool colors and do cool things.
