How do I schedule an outreach?

Outreaches are scheduled through Alison Neeley, the outreach coordinator.  You can contact her  at (352) 392-1901 extension 211.  The fax number is (352)392-0190.   If you have general questions or would like more information, you may also email her at adn@ufl.edu.

How far in advance do I need to call in order to schedule an outreach?

We generally ask that you schedule at least two weeks in advance.  Time slots fill up quickly so the sooner you call, the better.  (We cannot take requests for dates later than March 31 at this time.)

When are you available to give outreaches?

In general, we are available for outreaches Thursdays (8:00 am - 2:30 pm) and Fridays (12:30 pm - 5:30 pm). However, if we are given enough advanced notice we can often accommodate other times and days as well.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of people required for a show?

There is no minimum or maximum number required for an outreach.  Obviously, smaller groups work better for hands-on activities.  We prefer groups of around 10-25 people, but shows can be adapted for larger audiences as well.
